Likita Resort

We really liked this hotel. It is off the main road, so there is no traffic noise. There are roosters and hens walking around the yard, which is great. In the evening, when it gets dark, the local birds start singing, it feels a bit like being in the jungle, but you are still in the city - we really liked it. The location is great - 300 m from the bus station from Bangkok and the ferry port, if you are thinking of going further by boat. The hotel provided us with a rental scooter, which was very useful for us to explore the area and try different places to eat. We didn't use the pool, we just sunbathed there, but we really liked the cleanliness both near the pool and around the area. The staff was super nice, we liked everything.

I stayed for two nights before getting the ferry to Koh Samet to see what Ban Phe was like and was glad I did. They have recently built a swimming pool, which was a huge bonus! It is beautiful, as is the rest of the property. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again if I stay in Ban Phe.

Outstanding. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Located on 'beach road' 200 yards from the ferry pier. Perfect location. This is now my 'go to' choice for when we visit Ban Phe / Koh Samet

The units are set in a beautiful garden, with mature trees and ornamental planting. There is also a small group of exotic fowl wandering about, adding to the cicadas and bird song. The hotel let us use their bicycles for free, which was convenient to reach the bit of beach further along the road and the "urban forest". Had we needed the main town centre the bikes would have also been useful as it is some 1-2km away. There are shops and eating places all the way along the waterfront as far as the piers opposite the hotel, so we had no need.

have been here many times over the years due to convenient location and great value for money. Rooms away from the main road are recommended. Dont book if you are not an early riser - on site roosters are the best alarm clock (06:00 am).
